Connie Salisbury is the recipient of the coveted trophy bowl, awarded to the Club’s Volunteer of the Year each September. Connie has been a member of the College Club since 2005. For the last 20 years, she has always taken either a background role on many a committee or a leadership role on the Executive Board. She served as Co-Treasurer for two terms, has overseen the Basket Raffle for the Spring Luncheon for a number of years, and is one of the leads of the Community Outreach committee. She has been a key person (with Carol Kiley) responsible for cleaning, sorting, and pricing all the items members have donated for the bi-annual Yard sale; past Co-Chair of the Holiday Party, and the list goes on. All done in Connie’s quiet way with her enviable southern charm. It just took us this long to formally recognize her for all the wonderful work and ideas she has provided through the years! Congratulations!
